Grade 6, 7, 8 ELA

Grade 6 is busy reading The Egypt Game. In grammar, we will soon begin to learn about nouns and pronouns.

October has been filled with mystery and suspense as both 7th and 8th graders read "The Most Dangerous Game." In Grade 7, this will be followed by "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street." Eighth grade will move on to Edgar Allan Poe and "The Telltale Heart." Mystery book reports are due at the end of the month for both grades.

Please make sure that your child keeps up with all reading assignments including outside reading. Homework is assigned every day, and assignments are expected to be done on time. (Please refer to the ELA grading policy sent home at the beginnning of the school year).
